Nuclear Medicine Physician or Nuclear Radiologist in Nashville, Tennessee – Open Rank Position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
The Department of Radiology and Radiologic Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a full-time nuclear medicine physician or nuclear radiologist for the clinician-educator or clinical practice academic track.
Position Summary:
- Section comprises of 7 ABNM certified faculty
- Full breadth of nuclear medicine services including radiopharmaceutical therapies
- Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- Fully accredited Nuclear Medicine residency program, serving both ABNM and ABR pathways
- Participation in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards

- Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience
Position Requirements:
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine residency or Diagnostic Radiology residency with fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine or Nuclear Radiology
- ABNM eligible/certified or ABR with CAQ in Nuclear Radiology eligible/certified
- Hold an MD or equivalent degree
- Eligible for TN medical license
- Experience in interpretation of general nuclear medicine, SPECT, nuclear cardiology, and PET CT studies
- Experience in nuclear medicine therapies, including Lu-177 PSMA, Lu-177 DOTATATE, Radium-223 dichloride, and low and high dose I-131
